The TU/e has a large number of international students and staff members. These numbers differ considerably between departments, though. Popular in particular is Mathematics and Computer Science (W&I); 19% of all students of this department are from non-Dutch descent. The departments of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry and Electrical Engineering are the largest employers for international staff members, with no less than 39% of non-Dutch descent.
