9 oktober 2008 - If it is up to the executive committee of the European Week, the event scheduled from 25 thru 29 May 2009 at the TU/e will be the grandest ever. For the tenth edition the organization is still seeking almost two hundred volunteers for the week itself.

The European Week is held at the TU/e every other year. The purpose is with some 350 students from polytechnics and universities to exchange ideas about European subjects. This year’s theme will be ‘Faces of Europe: Looking through the eyes of others’. Executive committee secretary Ilse Hendriks “We want to talk about the position and role of Europe in the world.” TU/e students and staff members themselves do not join in the discussions. They will be involved in particular with the organization.
