Fifteen dance couples circle around on the dance floor. They practice quick step during a beginners’ course ballroom dancing at the Eindhoven’s Student Dance Company Footloose. The dance instructor gives instructions, alternating between Dutch and English. “English instruction is needed, for more and more international students of the TU/e and Fontys find their way to Footloose in the Bunker”, says former chairwoman Carolien Lafféber. |
