12 maart 2009 - Aukje Doornbos, alumna of the TU/e Department of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, has been elected Young Professional of the Year 2009. The jury is of the opinion that the process design engineer succeeds in using her good contacts on the shop floor at DSM in her projects, and thanks to her success ‘the men in the factory’ think the world of her. The TU/e alumna, who graduated from Chemical Engineering and Chemistry in 2004, managed to carry off most of the votes (of more than 35,000 votes cast) on line. In addition, she won the best assessment by the professional jury.
