29 april 2009 -
This week the second wave of the International Student Barometer will be held at TU/e. Students who filled in the questionnaire of the first wave (in the autumn of 2008), will receive the second questionnaire. The ISB is a survey held in 12 different countries worldwide among students who study abroad. They are asked why they chose the particular study and country and how satisfied they are with elements such as the arrival, life, learning and the support they received. The number of people who responded to the first wave was 72%, which is very high. TU/e is very pleased with the involvement of international students. A workforce with staff from the Communication Expertise Center and the International Office is processing the first results. In the Cursor of September/October we will give an update of the conclusions of the ISB and the issues to be addressed. The International Office will also ask international students what they think of the action plan.
