The municipality of Eindhoven will in the short term try to find a solution for the heavy traffic at the exit of the university grounds at De Zaale. Especially at the end of the day a long queue of waiting cars tends to build up before the barriers these days. This is caused by the traffic lights along the ring road, of which the green interval has been considerably reduced for several weeks now.
New part-time professor for analysis of medical images

The Biomedical Engineering Department has appointed dr.ir. Marcel Breeuwer part-time professor in the section of Biomedical Image Analysis. At Philips Healthcare Breeuwer is leading a team that focuses on medical imaging techniques.
