    European student faculty association looking for organizational talent
    16 december 2010 - The Eindhoven branch of European student faculty association BEST is still looking for one or two new committee members. At this moment there are three already, but that is not enough to carry out all their enthusiastic ideas. Active members are also more than welcome, by the way; people who are willing to lend a hand now and then.

    Wanted: people who can organize, who like to travel and enjoy associating with foreign students. A committee position is compensated partly by means of an executive grant.

    The plans: a course for international guest students, encourage Eindhoven students to attend courses abroad, an engineering competition, an exchange with another local BEST group, and congenial parties regularly, of course.

    What is BEST? BEST stands for Board of European Students of Technology. Throughout Europe there are 76 local BEST groups, one of which is based in Eindhoven. BEST organizes (educational) activities that put students from all over Europe in contact with each other. (See also Look who’s talking on the English page of Cursor 3 of this year.) (SK)
