D-Night at Totelos
Student Indoor Soccer Club ‘Totelos’ will hold its annual pre-carnival indoor soccer tournament D-night on Thursday night 27 February. Registration for this nocturnal tournament is still open. A team must have at least seven persons. You can register at the Student Sports Centre until 19.30 hours on the 27th. The entry fee is 38.50 euros per team. The dress code is carnival.

Guest lecture Peace operations
Mr Bram Stemerdink, former Minister of Defence, will on Thursday 27 February deliver a guest lecture about peace operations and conflict control. The situation in Iraq may come up for discussion as well. Stemerdink’s lecture is the conclusion of the series of lectures on Technique, Peace and Security and will take place in hall 2 of the Auditorium from 13.30 to 15.15 hours.

Pre-Varsity feast at ESC
On Thursday night 27 February the theme of ’Ilium’ Society of the Eindhoven Students’ Union (ESC) will be the pre-Varsity feast. The drink, open to members of ESC and Student Rowing Club ‘Thêta’, is intended as a foretaste of the traditional boisterous club party which both clubs hope to hold on 13 April after the Varsity, the annual student rowing race. For that Thêta ‘just’ has to succeed in winning the Varsity.

SG seeks creative spirits
Studium Generale, the bureau at the TU/e that organises lectures,
