4 september 2008 - The TU/e is starting special ‘Masterclass days’ around the themes energy and climate. These classes are intended to give PhD candidates and Master students from the TU/e and from other universities a chance to go deeply into these themes. Subjects that will be covered include climate development and the possibilities of various forms of energy generation such as solar cells, wind and nuclear energy and biofuels. The first day will be on Tuesday 23 September and the subject will be ‘Uncertainty in climate development’. The idea is for the English-language Masterclasses to supplement the regular courses at the universities. Participation in the Masterclass days is open to all PhD candidates and Master students in the last phase of their studies. Registration is possible via www.tue.nl/energydays.
