First Indian Day at TU/e
23 april 2009 - Tuesday 28th April 2009 an Indian get-together will be organized for the first time at TU/e. The celebration is for Indian staff and students of TU/e and their partners. This event will be the start of an Indian association within the university.

“About sixty staff members and twenty students at TU/e have an Indian background”, says Mayankkumar Shah, PhD at Process Systems Engineering of the Department of Chemical Engineering. “They come from various parts of India and they study or work at different Departments. We don’t all know each other. The intention behind this Indian Day is to create a platform where Indian colleagues who work and study here, can meet.”

The evening, with games, music and Indian food, will be held from 6 to 10 pm at In Vivo (W-Laag -1.13). The event, including the food, will be free of cost./.
