“Main goal of this day is to enable partners of international TU/e employees to get to know other partners. In that way they can increase their network, exchange ideas and tips and start activities among themselves”, says Willem van Hoorn, trainer and staff member of DPO concerning Internationalization.

On this first Network day for partners, two small workshops will be given. “One is about things one can do to get a job in the Netherlands and one about some aspects of ‘the’ Dutch culture and ways of doing things”, Van Hoorn explains. In the afternoon participants can choose between a tour through Eindhoven with an English speaking guide or a visit to the TU/e Sports center, which is accessible also to partners of TU/e employees with a sports card.

Especially for this day the Tuimelaar, the child care facility on the TU/e campus, has created 24 extra day care places for children aged 10 weeks to 4 years. The networking day is free of admission. For more information contact Willem van Hoorn (w.g.v.hoorn@tue.nl)./.
