When taken?
In May 2008 I moved to the city center of Eindhoven and I was impressed with the variety of people in the city: different shapes and colors of clothes, different eyes and different minds. Everybody was so unique and contributed to the face of the city. In the spring of 2009 I started working at the series of photo-
graphs under the working name ‘I Love Eindhoven’.

What do we see?
A boy is exercising his skateboarding skills in front of Catharina Church. The boy and his mum kindly agreed tocooperate with mein order for me to take this photo for my project. Unfortunately, I do not have their contact details. So in case they read this: contact me!

Why this picture?
Looking at my series of photos I feel that Eindhoven will not stop surprising me even after several years of living here. And I hope that this series of pictures can help others in a deeper understanding of the beauty of the place we are living in.
