12 november 2009 - The TU/e website is running for the title ‘Website of the Year 2009’. The site is among the sixteen nominees in the category Education. Internet users can cast their votes until 18 November via www.websitevanhetjaar.nl. There they can indicate what they think about the navigation, the content and the design of the websites nominated. Last year approximately one and a half million votes were cast. Earlier winners were Google, Hyves and Marktplaats. This year more than three hundred websites are competing in 21 categories. In the new category Education there are eight universities hoping to win the title. (TA)
