This week in I wonder how: how do I find information about everything going on in Eindhoven and at TU/e? We often hear from international students that they are not abreast of what is happening in Eindhoven. So here we present a selection of some handy websites.

Especially for international students the International Office has made a Facebook page: TU/e International Student Team. It regularly shows announcements of interesting activities or pieces of information, also handy for staff members.

www.eindhovennews.nl is a website featuring regional news and other valuable information in English, especially for the international community in Eindhoven. The site has been set up by expats.

On www.vvv-eindhoven.nl/en, the site of Eindhoven’s Tourist Office, you will find information about events and places of interest in Eindhoven.

Studium Generale organizes lectures, concerts, exhibitions and films at TU/e. Many activities are free. www.studiumgenerale-eindhoven.nl.

With its varied, progressive programming the Effenaar is one of the best-known podia of the Netherlands. There is a big and a small hall, as well as a restaurant with a terrace. www.effenaar.nl.
