    T!NT brings interactive website
3 februari 2011 - Seekercity is the name of the new interactive website that T!NT wants to bring to the notice of TU/e students and other youngsters. In the second week of February the site will go live. The idea is for students and life coaches to enter into discussions about vital questions. Sustainability, study and work and religion are just a few of the thirteen subjects up for discussion on Seekercity.

"We invite young people up to thirty to come and live in Seekercity", says T!NT life coach Elisabeth Fricker. "They can do so by logging in, furnishing a room and taking part in discussions on forums or by placing films. New initiatives are welcome, too. Fricker emphasizes that students influence the development themselves. It is an English-language site. Its intention is to seek, find, exchange and share answers to vital questions. The focus is on giving meaning to things, spirituality, the art of living, social involvement. The distinctive feature is that the site is interactive, so students and life coaches can all contribute."

The site has been developed by philosophical organizations of Dutch universities. Fricker expects that its added value over and above pages such as Hyves and Facebook is that Seekercity will have more depth. "Its content will be similar to that during T!NT discussions. Now they do not need to stop when the café closes its doors, but can go on via the digital channel."

The site will also feature blogs of the life coaches Marie-Jantien Kreeft and Elisabeth Fricker. It will be evaluated continuously, and adjusted wherever necessary. "Still, the success of life in the city of Seekercity will depend on the participation by both students and life coaches." (NS)
