IEEE Xtreme is a Student Activities Committee initiative for creating a worldwide programming contest for students. In IEEE Xtreme teams of student members, supported by a Student Branch and an IEEE Member, compete in a 24-hour time span to solve a set of programming problems. The 2008 edition of the contest will begin at 00:01 GMT (01:01 local time) on March 8, 2008 and end the following day. IEEE Student Branch Eindhoven will also compete in this contest.
