Van Ham (55) is now still acting as deputy director-general Higher Education, Vocational Secondary Education, Science Policy and Emancipation of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW). Van Ham has been appointed for a four-year period. He will succeed prof. dr. Paul Verhaegen, who had to resign as of 1 October 2007 due to a serious illness and died on 4 May of this year. of the 25 new foreign students this year are also from China.”
