23 oktober 2008 - On Saturday 8 November the third Day of the International student will be held. It will take place in The Hague. About 2500 international students from every province of the Netherlands are expected to attend. There are about seventy thousand international students in the Netherlands. Every year Nuffic organizes the Day of the International Student, around the theme of ‘Connecting Cultures’, to make them feel welcome and to show them that we appreciate the fact that they chose the Netherlands as their study destination. The visiting students can meet other international students following the same courses and also other students from their home country that they may otherwise never have run into. On the day there will be a chance to take part in excursions and in workshops about how to operate in an international environment and about embarking on an international career. The event will finish with a big party. Participation in the Day of the International Student will cost international students 12.50 euros each, which includes dinner.
