Space boxes finished by mid-December
23 oktober 2008 - The space boxes behind Potentiaal on the TU/e campus have been placed this week. It concerns a total of 102 housing units, including 9 two-room houses. By mid-December the foreign guests of the TU/e can move into the boxes. All the space boxes have been rented.

Stuart Parkin first ‘distinguished professor’ at TU/e
23 oktober 2008 - The TU/e has appointed prof. dr. Stuart Parkin as ‘distinguished professor’. Parkin is a professor at Stanford University and an IBM Fellow of the IBM Almaden Research Center in the USA. Earlier this year he was awarded an honorary doctorate by the TU/e within the context of the celebration of the university’s 52nd Foundation Day. Parkin is an expert in the field of spintronics.

Olympic champion Chris Witty trains student skating club Isis
23 oktober 2008 - The life of speed skater Chris Witty was dominated by winning until recently. At present the former Olympic 1000-meter champion is in Eindhoven, training the selection of student skating club Isis.
