When taken?
On a cold but beautiful day at the beginning of March

What do we see?
A freezing sunny day! The realization that spring is about to be here overwhelmed me. I walked for hours. This beautiful wild flower that begins to grow is a very early sign of spring.

Why taken?
There is something special about the Netherlands, it has awful winters with dark low skies. Then it hits you with a fantastic spring. This sharp contrast influences the mood. It gives you hope that better weather is coming. (HB)
