1 april 2010 - A 22-year-old French exchange student of TU/e died on the building site next to the PSV stadium in the night of March 24 to 25. According to a spokesman for the police, a criminal offence is excluded. The boy has fallen down from a high crane. Around seven o’clock the next morning he was found dead by a builder.What the student was doing on the site is not clear. A spokesman for Van der Ven firm of contractors says that it is by no means easy to gain access to the building site. The site is fenced off with a high fence with barbed wire. Reports alleging that the boy was making photographs are denied by the spokesman. He says that no camera has been found. For reasons of privacy TU/e is not giving any information about the student’s identity. (SK)
