The university council wants TU/e to appoint an ombudsman. Within the context of the impending amendment to the Higher Education and Research Act universities will before long be obliged to have one authority that students can turn to with their complaints. Eleven years ago a similar plea failed due to a veto by the Executive Board (CvB).
