Dujuan Yang (25) from China, a PhD student of Architecture and Urban Planning

When taken? I took this photo on Saturday 3rd October in a museum in Utrecht where a celebration was held for a Chinese traditional holiday which is called mid-autumn day in China.

What do we see? This is the Eindhoven Chinese student dance salon performing here. You can see that every one of them is holding a red fan. This dance is
an exquisite Chinese Fan Dance which combines the traditional Chinese dance with modern dance. They look so beautiful and enthusiastic.

Why this picture? When I had just arrived in Eindhoven, I hoped I could find something of interest to enjoy my life here as soon as possible. Then I was so lucky to find this group. Every week we are together and dance together. Sometimes we give a performance to promote the Chinese culture. Thanks to the common love of dance, we have a lot of fun together. This has been one of the most memorable moments for me in the Netherlands till now.
