First TU/e Art Day on Panamarenko
5 juni 2008 - TU/e’s Kunstcommissie (art committee) is organizing the first annual Art Day at this university on June 5. Belgian artist Panamarenko’s giant model airplane Umbilly I will be the centerpiece of the Art Day and can be seen in the Vertigo building (from first floor Plaza or ground floor workshop).

Vertigo’s Plaza will be the venue for the Art Day exhibition from June 5 to 26. Umbilly I and the original design drawings will be on show. Together with the borrowed related piece Rug Umbilly IV and the results of two workshops for students inspired by Panamarenko’s work. The documentary and the book to go with it can also be seen there.
