4 december 2008 - The TU/e Personnel Department organizes six introduction days in English every year for new international staff. The next intro day is on Friday December 19 from 9 a.m. to about 4 p.m. There will be information about the city of Eindhoven, the university, the Netherlands and the Dutch, and working in an intercultural environment. The day is of course also an opportunity for people to meet other international university employees. Lunch, vegetarian or not as desired, is provided. The dates for the other intro days are: 6 February, 3 April, 19 June, 11 September, 16 October, 4 December 2009.
