Ivan Oliveira (30) from Brazil

When taken? This weekend I and my wife Anna Grigolon, 27 years old, PhD candidate at the Urban Planning Department, had the opportunity to travel on holiday to one of the most beautiful cities in Europe: Prague! We walked up and down the new and the old city, visited Prague Castle, watched the Black Lights Theater, saw the Swan Lake Ballet in the Opera House and many times crossed Wenceslas Square, the heart of the city.

What do we see: In the picture you can see the gardens of Wenceslas Square, the Wenceslas Monument far away at the other end of the square, and behind it the beautiful National Museum.

Why this picture? This picture means a lot to us and is by far our favorite of the trip because it was taken when we were already tired of walking and decided to sit down to rest. Suddenly we realized what view there was before us and the beauty of the place and how lucky we were to be there.
