What’s happening?

World Cup matches in canteen Student Sports Center
Supplementary to last week’s What’s Happening: you can also watch World Cup football matches in the canteen of the Student Sports Center. Every match played during the opening hours of the Center will be shown.
Up to and including 7th July, canteen Student Sports Center, opening hours Monday thru Friday from 08.00 to 23.00 hours, Saturday from 09.00-17.00 hours.

‘Straffe Madammen en Makke Mannen’: podium art in the park
Podium for beginning theater makers from the Netherlands and Flanders. In the Eindhoven Stadswandelpark about seventy performances will be shown in six tents, ranging from movement theater and dance to music theater and monologues. A lot of the performances will be in Dutch, but dance and musical performances will be suited for an international audience, of course.

Live music at Grand Café Centraal
Every second and last Sunday of the month there will be live music at Grand Café Centraal, played by William Finta (singer) and René van Mierlo (guitar). Every Tuesday night there is a jam session. Playing along is possible after consultation.
Second and last Sunday of the month, from 16.00 hours (live music) and every Tuesday from 21.30 hours (jam session), Grand Café Centraal, Markt 8, admission free.

Electronic juggling show in the dark
It may sound like a stale circus act: juggling. However, the British group ‘Feeding the Fish’ is moving with the times and uses luminous cones with laser and pixel image effects, in combination with music and special choreography.
