    Four questions to…
    23 september 2010 - Ellis Dobber (26),

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
“Always keep the greater picture in mind. That is what a teacher said to me during my preliminary training of the dance academy. When I dwell too much on less important details, I try to envisage my main purpose again and work towards it with concentration.”

What is the most pleasant place for you?
“That’s difficult to say, as it depends a lot on the time of day for me and how you feel. Still, Paradox, a jazz bar in Tilburg, is a place where I feel good at a great many times. There are always lots of cool people, and musicians visit the spot for jamming. It has an open and relaxed atmosphere.”

In whose boots would you like to be for a day?
“Michael Jackson’s, although that is impossible now. I think it would be awesome to be a super-celebrity for one day, and to experience the positive as well as the negative sides of that. The enormous wealth, for instance: what do you do with so much money? The constant attention in the media also strikes me as a peculiar thing, though.”

Who at TU/e deserves a pat on the back and why?
“The man behind the desk at the TU/e Sports Center (Dennis Schonenburg, ed.), because he is always good-humoured and has a positive presence while sitting there behind his desk!” (HB)
