International meeting IT committee BEST in Eindhoven

Their stay in Eindhoven was anything but a holiday; the IT committee members of BEST Internationaal had to put their shoulders to the wheel. During their stay from 30 November to 6 December these sixteen members, who hail from various European countries, worked on the digital facilities of the international student faculty association. In between their activities there was some time for entertainment during the ‘international evening’.
Staff Association in need of international colleague

The membership of the TU/e Staff Association (PV) does not properly reflect the staffing. Out of fifteen hundred members only a ‘handful’ are of international descent, says the new chairman ir. Ruud van Vliet. It is a missed chance, both for the Staff Association and for the international co-workers. Therefore the chairman is calling on international colleagues to come forward. For them sufficient interesting activities are organized as well, he assures us.
International student competition Industrial Engineering and Management Science

Before long, TU/e students of Industrial Engineering and Management Science can compete for the title ‘Best IEM students of the year 2008’. On Thursday 13 December Interactie, the international sub-association of student faculty association Industria, will hold the TIMES (Tournament In Management and Engineering Skills) Local Qualification. The winners will go on to the semi-final in Novi Sad (Serbia) from 22 thru 25 February. The final is scheduled for early in April in Karlsruhe, Germany.
