Tilburg not afraid of Iranian students
17 januari 2008 - The discussion at the universities of technology about screening and excluding Iranian students is totally insignificant in Tilburg, according to a report by Tilburg University (UvT). This week it was with a certain degree of pride that the UvT presented Farinaz Aryanfar (23) as its new campus poetess.
This Iranian economy student and human rights activist Aryanfar will in 2008 write poems about life on campus in English as well as in Dutch.
The UvT calls her a ‘strongly committed student’. Someone who takes a fierce stand in her weblog against the exclusion of Iranian students at the universities of technology in the Netherlands. (http://aryanfar.blogspot.com/)/.
