TU/e project translated into Farsi

Master students carrying out Inter-Faculty projects at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry deliver not only a report but also a project website. Web statistics have already indicated that those websites http://students.chem.tue.nl/ and http://students.chem.tue.nl/ draw worldwide attention. The students who carried out the project on Carbon Nanotubes, Synthesis, Properties and Applications in 2003 were pleasantly surprised to see their final report translated into Farsi (Persian). The 175 page booklet has a thesis format and was published by the Scientific Association of the Material Science Faculty of Tehran University. Naturally, prior permission for the translation was obtained from supervisors prof. dr. Peter Notten and dr. ir. Rogier Niessen (TU/e and Philips Research) and full acknowledgments were given to the students Michaël Daenen, Remco de Fouw, Bart Hamers, Pim Janssen, Koen Schouteden and Martijn Veld./

The English Page is written by Franca Gilsing. She can be reached at engcursor@tue.nl.
