Design Café about ‘ambient intelligence’

17 september 2009 - Prof.dr. Emile Aarts, part-time professor at TU/e, will on Tuesday 29 September present a lecture during the third Design Café in De Zwarte Doos. Aarts has been the scientific director of Philips Research in Eindhoven for several years now. He is one of the founding fathers of the research into ambient intelligence, the branch of science that is intended to make everyday household activities as simple as possible. Aarts is involved in the setup and execution of a large number of national and international research programs in the area of ICT. The lecture by Aarts will begin at 16.00 hours and will take about an hour. In view of the limited number of seats, advance reservation is desired before Tuesday 22 September.
