International light art festival Glow in Eindhoven

Having welcomed over 50,000 visitors, the First edition of Glow was such a success that it was obvious straight away that this international light art festival in Eindhoven had to have a sequel. From 9 thru 18 November more than twenty works of light art are exhibited at various locations in the city under the motto ‘Sealed Spaces’. A selection from the works: Magdalena Jetelová is making a light installation for a car park, the floor of which is covered with a thin film of water. A lighted spiral makes the water look ‘infinite’. Another special light art project is that of Bettina Pelz and Tom Groll. During this event the artists use projected light to make it seem as if moss is growing and moving against the façade of the city hall. For more information about ‘Glow: Sealed Spaces’, a survey of all these works of art and a convenient map enabling you to see all of them: www.gloweindhoven.nl.
