“Lecture about contested pyramids detrimental to reputation TU/e”
20 mei 2010 - Not everyone is pleased with the lecture about the Bosnian pyramids that dr. Semir Osmanagic will present at TU/e tomorrow night (Friday May 21). He will do so by invitation of the multicultural student association Mosaic. Computer science student Sujit Prasannakumar: “TU/e should not provide a platform for pseudo-scientists like Osmanagic.”

Action against leaving lights on after toilet visit
20 mei 2010 - Washing their hands after visiting the toilet is a lesson soon learnt by many toddlers when out of their diapers. ‘And also remember the greenhouse gases’ might well have been added to this. In that case students and staff members at TU/e might be more alert to switching off the light after their visit to the toilet, for there is a great deal to be improved in this bit of environmental awareness at university, as the Chemiewinkel has established. Therefore it is devoting attention to this issue by means of stickers pasted campus-wide.

Look Who’s Talking
20 mei 2010 - They seem to have a rather tranquil time, the six executive members of the Eindhoven Doctoral Candidates Association PromoVE. Jointly they receive on average one question per week. Just ‘being there’ can already be important, however. In any case Cursor thought it was high time to visit the association that promotes the interests of doctoral candidates and postdocs at TU/e.
