During the New Year’s reception, Executive Board chairman dr.ir. Arno Peels presented the Strategic Plan 2020. In this plan TU/e is announcing ambitious intentions for the organization of its research and education and for the transformation of the campus. The course that is being plotted is intended to ensure that TU/e will in 2020 rank among the one hundred best universities worldwide. In order to reach that ambitious starting point the university has to grow one and a half times as much in student and scientist numbers.
